With over 10 years of dedicated experience as a trainee and specialist surgeon, Dr. Dorothy Turu brings a wealth of expertise encompassing basic and advanced clinical and procedural skills. Her expertise lies prominently in proctology and colorectal surgery, where she excels in addressing abdominal, breast, and bowel problems, along with specialized care for conditions 'down under,' such as piles, fistulas, pain, discharge, and bleeding.
Dr. Turu has made significant contributions to the field, including research on social media usage among ostomy patients and the unforeseen complications of Crohn’s disease. Her research has been presented at prestigious conferences, such as the European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP) conference in Dublin.
